Comics This Week

Read the latest Hellboy Weird Tales #5. Pretty good stuff. Some lighter fair than some of the past issues, but plenty to get a diehard Hellboy fan through another month.

Issue #10 of Lone Wolf 2100 is picking up steam (after a lag in publishing) and getting more intriging but mutating further from the original material. Don't know where it's going but the art is definitely worth it.

Gotham Central #12 was as "top shelf" as ever. Seemingly paced slow at the beginning then slamming you into a wall by the final pages. You HAVE to read this book! You dig?

Unfortunately, Superman/Batman #3 is not shaping up like I had hoped. The storyline feels quite a bit different than Hush. But it is still suffering from too many characters crammed into the first three issues. I'll stick with it for now just because I love the Ed McGuiness art. But even that doesn't seem to be up to snuff with the body of his other Superman work.

Any one read the Trigun issued from Dark Horse? Let me know.
